The Best Call Center Simulation Software in 2026
Ten AI roleplay platforms for contact center teams, scored on the same six parameters: where scenarios come from, whether agents practice the software too, whether the same rubric grades real calls, how it fits your contact center and LMS, and whether you can start without a sales call.

Why the Usual Lists Are Hard to Trust
If you search for call center simulation software, most of the lists you find were written by a vendor that ranks itself first. The aggregator lists that are not vendor content mix in workforce planning and queue modeling tools such as NICE WFM and FlexSim, which do not simulate a customer at all. And several still quote numbers that vendors have since taken down.
So we started from the vendors' own pages. We read the product, pricing, integration, and security pages for each platform on October 1 and 2, 2026, marked every figure as published, vendor-disclosed, or reported by a competitor, and scored all ten on the same six parameters. Hyperbound and Kendo appear on some call center lists, but both are built for sales floors, so they are not scored here.
One disclosure: SnapSDR runs on Tough Tongue AI's agent infrastructure, so we know one platform on this list from the inside. We scored it with the same rubric as everyone else, including where it falls short.
Three Kinds of Tools
Conversation + systems
The agent talks to an AI customer while working a replica of the CRM, ticketing, or desktop tools. Closest to a real shift, and the heaviest to set up.
Reddy, Zenarate, SymTrain, ReflexAI, Mindtickle, Call Simulator with Assima
Conversation-first
The focus is the call itself: tone, empathy, policy, de-escalation. Faster to launch, and the systems practice happens elsewhere.
Second Nature, Attensi RealTalk, Exec, Tough Tongue AI
Practice inside QA
Simulation added to a conversation intelligence or QA platform, so practice is assigned from what QA finds on live calls.
Cresta, Solidroad, Centrical
The 6-Point Scorecard
A green check means the vendor documents the capability publicly. An amber tilde means it exists in a limited form or through a partner. A gray cross means we found no public evidence of it.
Built from your calls
Can recordings or transcripts of your real calls become practice scenarios?
Systems practice
Does the agent work a replica of the CRM or desktop during the call?
Scores live calls
Does the same rubric grade real customer calls, not just practice?
CCaaS connectors
Are there named integrations with Genesys, Five9, NICE, or similar?
LMS standards
Can it deliver through your LMS with SCORM, xAPI, LTI, or named connectors?
Self-serve start
Can a team lead start with a free tier or published price, without a sales cycle?

Platforms Where Agents Practice the Software Too
Zenarate
Best for: Regulated enterprise contact centersZenarate now calls itself a frontline performance platform for humans and AI, with three products: Perform for practice and coaching, Analyze for QA scorecards and calibration, and Evolve, launched in June 2026, for AI voice and chat agents. A policy document, call recording, or knowledge article becomes a working simulation in under a minute, and a person signs off every change the authoring agents make.
It has the broadest channel coverage here, from voice and chat to back-office and screen tasks and avatar roleplay with video analysis. Its current case studies cite TruGreen halving onboarding time and Sallie Mae cutting attrition by 32%.
- Channels:
- Voice, chat, email, back office, screen tasks, avatar
- Compliance:
- SOC 2; PCI, HIPAA, GDPR support
- Integrations:
- CCaaS, CRM, and WFM; xAPI and LMS
- Pricing:
- Demo only
Check before you buy: Zenarate relaunched its site in late September 2026, and the homepage stats that many lists still quote are gone. A competitor review reports a 200-learner minimum at about $80,000 a year plus roughly $25,000 in year one. Its CCaaS integrations are described generically, so ask for your platform by name.
SymTrain
Best for: 200+ agents on Genesys, Five9, or VerintSymTrain turns real calls, chat transcripts, emails, and QA evaluations into practice scenarios, and its pitch is speed: a QA miss becomes a targeted simulation in about three minutes. Agents move through a learn, practice, and test progression, with results tied to CSAT, first-call resolution, and handle time.
It is the most integrated with the contact center stack: direct connections to Genesys, Verint, Five9, and CallMiner, and SCORM export that writes pass or fail back to your LMS. It is also one of the few vendors to publish a real price point, $205,000 a year for a deployment of more than 10,000 agents.
- Channels:
- Voice and chat, with navigational scenarios
- Compliance:
- Practices aligned with SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA
- Integrations:
- Genesys, Verint, Five9, CallMiner; SCORM
- Pricing:
- $1.71/agent/mo in one 10,000+ agent deal
Check before you buy: It is built for organizations with 200 or more agents. Its security page says its practices are designed to align with SOC 2, which is not the same as a SOC 2 report, so ask for the attestation you need.
ReflexAI
Best for: High-stakes calls with CCaaS-connected QAReflexAI started in crisis and safety-critical work, and it shows in the product: personas carry configurable backstories, tones, and emotions, built for de-escalation practice. Prepare runs the simulations, and its software simulations let agents work a CRM, EHR, or ticketing tool while they talk. Assure scores every live conversation instead of a small manual sample.
It has the strongest compliance set in this comparison, including HITRUST, and direct connectors to Five9, Genesys, and NICE CXone. Scenarios come from any file, script, or prompt, and multi-party simulations arrived in September 2026.
- Channels:
- Voice-first, plus chat and software overlays
- Compliance:
- SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001
- Integrations:
- Five9, Genesys, NICE CXone, 8x8, Vonage
- Languages:
- 25+
Check before you buy: ReflexAI publishes Essential, Growth, and Pro tiers but no prices, and it does not name an LMS integration. Its strongest references are in crisis and behavioral health lines, so ask for commercial contact center customers in your industry.
Reddy
Best for: BPOs that want a working desktop replicaReddy ingests your calls, scripts, and workflows and rebuilds the agent's CRM and ticketing into a functioning replica, so practice looks like a real shift instead of a screenshot walkthrough. Changes are made in plain English.
It runs training, live call assistance, and post-call QA on one scorecard, scoring every call, chat, and email. A white-label BPO program and integrations across CRM, ticketing, LMS, knowledge base, and HRIS round it out.
- Channels:
- Calls, chats, emails, plus live assist
- Compliance:
- SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS 4.0.1, GDPR
- Integrations:
- Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow; Absorb, Cornerstone, Docebo
- Pricing:
- Demo only
Check before you buy: Reddy is a young company (founded 2023, 18 people per its about page) and lists no CCaaS integrations. Its own list notes it is not designed for in-person interactions.
Mindtickle
Best for: 1,000+ employee enablement programsMindtickle's AI Role Play Simulator puts agents inside no-code replicas of your applications, so they scroll, enter data, and fill forms while the AI customer talks. Copilot grades each run on empathy, keywords, and pacing, and a readiness index tracks progress across the program.
It is a fit when contact center training is one part of a larger enablement program across a big organization, with 19 or more languages and SCORM export for the LMS you already run.
- Channels:
- Voice and chat
- Compliance:
- ISO 42001, EU AI Act, and more
- Integrations:
- SCORM export to any LMS
- Pricing:
- Vendr median $44K/yr, whole platform
Check before you buy: Mindtickle grew up in sales enablement, and a support-only team may pay for a suite it will not use. Its Vendr median covers the full platform, not role play alone.
Call Simulator
Best for: Enterprise L&D that wants a flat feeCall Simulator grew out of AI 911-dispatch training and now serves contact centers, banks, BPOs, and insurers. Your own team authors scenarios in Scenario Studio, and existing transcripts or audio become practice in minutes. It handles multi-persona situations like warm transfers.
Pricing is one enterprise fee based on learner headcount, with unlimited scenarios and practice. Its FAQ describes a fintech that replaced a $78,000 shadowing program with a $55,000 deployment.
- Channels:
- Voice, multi-chat, multi-persona, in-person
- Compliance:
- ISO 27001 (April 2026), GDPR
- Integrations:
- SCORM, cmi5, SAML SSO, results API
- Languages:
- 15
Check before you buy: Full systems practice needs a second vendor, Assima. There is no public trial, and we found no SOC 2 report.
Platforms Built Around the Call Itself
Second Nature
Best for: Sales-led orgs adding support teamsSecond Nature builds gamified roleplays from your scripts and recordings, with avatars whose mood you can set for difficult-customer practice. Scoring defaults to 70% knowledge and 30% style, and managers can change it. It says it can train more than 1,000 people at once.
Its enterprise security is among the most mature here, and customers include Zoom, Oracle, Adobe, and Teleperformance. It is the natural pick when sales already uses it and support wants to join the same platform.
- Channels:
- Live conversations, avatars, screen-share demos
- Compliance:
- SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA
- Integrations:
- SCORM, LTI, Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors
- Languages:
- 25+
Check before you buy: Second Nature focuses on the conversation, not systems navigation, and has no CCaaS connector. Pricing is quote-only; a competitor reports about $50 per user per month.
Attensi RealTalk
Best for: Multilingual frontline teamsRealTalk puts agents in front of virtual customers who push back and respond to tone and wording, then scores each conversation with what went well and where the customer was lost. Scenarios cover complaints, billing disputes, technical support, and regulated conversations, built in minutes without developers.
Its strengths are reach and engagement: 50+ languages, gamified repeat play, and a customer list that includes Circle K, Sephora, and Mercedes-Benz.
- Channels:
- AI customers, mobile-first delivery
- Languages:
- 50+, used in 150+ countries
- Integrations:
- Own LMS, or SCORM, xAPI, LTI
- Pricing:
- Demo; free sample scenario
Check before you buy: Systems practice is a separate Attensi product, not part of RealTalk. The site shows a Cyber Essentials badge; we could not find the ISO 27001 claim some lists repeat.
Exec
Best for: SMB and mid-market, self-serveExec drafts a scenario from a description, a recorded call, or a document, and ships prebuilt support scenarios such as Angry Customer Escalation, Warranty Claim Denial, and Billing Dispute. Custom rubrics grade practice, and the same criteria score real calls pulled from Gong or Chorus.
With a free plan and published seat prices, it is one of two platforms here a team lead can start this week.
- Channels:
- Voice roleplay; screen share on Professional
- Compliance:
- SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3
- Integrations:
- Gong, Chorus, LTI 1.3, SSO, SCIM, MCP
- Pricing:
- Free; $20 and $39 per seat/mo
Check before you buy: Exec is a sales-first product with a support solution page. It has no SCORM and no CCaaS connectors, its call scoring runs through recorders like Gong and Chorus, and it supports nine languages.
Tough Tongue AI
Best for: Practice and live QA on one rubricTough Tongue AI is a platform for building live AI agents, and for contact centers it closes the loop between QA and training. You upload your best and worst call recordings, and it generates practice scenarios that mirror your real customers. Agents practice by voice in the browser, on the phone, or in Google Meet and Zoom.
The same rubric then grades real calls. Recordings or transcripts arrive through the API in batches, or a Note Taker bot scores live Meet and Zoom sessions. Every call is scored 1 to 10: 1 to 4 are flagged for your QA team, 5 to 7 pass, and 8 to 10 are archived as model calls that become new practice scenarios. Structured fields such as sentiment, objection type, and compliance language come back with every score.
For onboarding, Courses combine knowledge checks and simulations with score-gating, so a new hire cannot go live until they pass. Pricing is published: 25 free minutes, then $299 a month for 15 seats and 2,990 pooled minutes, $499 for 25 seats, $999 for 50 seats, and $0.07 per minute on Enterprise.
- Channels:
- Browser, phone, Google Meet and Zoom
- Compliance:
- SOC 2, HIPAA, zero data retention (Enterprise)
- Integrations:
- REST API, iframe, webhooks, MCP
- Pricing:
- Free; $299/mo for 15 seats
Check before you buy: There is no desktop or system replica, no SCORM package (LMS delivery is an iframe plus the results API), and no prebuilt CCaaS connector; real calls come in through the API or the meeting bot. The language count is not published, though language and accent are set per scenario.
Also Worth Knowing
Launched July 2026 inside Cresta's conversation intelligence platform. Practice customers are built from real conversations and graded on the same behaviors as live calls, with deep CCaaS coverage (Five9, Genesys, NICE, Amazon Connect). Best for existing Cresta customers.
AI training and QA for modern CX teams across chat, email, phone, and video, with backend simulations of the support stack and helpdesk integrations such as Zendesk and Intercom. Raised a $25M Series A in April 2026.
A readiness layer for support teams with Zendesk and Intercom integration and unlimited seats. Free tier with 10 sessions; Core starts at €1,000 a month.
Added AI roleplay to its performance management platform in January 2026, delivered through missions. Multi-language support is listed as planned.
What It Costs
Only two of the ten publish a price list: Exec and Tough Tongue AI. For three others, a real number has surfaced in a vendor press release or a competitor's review. Normalized to a monthly cost per agent:
Price per agent per month, for the five vendors where a number exists
One 10,000+ agent deployment, from SymTrain's own press release
Business plan, $299/mo for 15 seats and 2,990 pooled minutes
Starter and Professional seats, billed annually
~$80K/yr with a 200-learner minimum, as reported by a competitor
$50 per user-month credit, as reported by a competitor
These are not like-for-like quotes. SymTrain's figure reflects a very large deployment, Tough Tongue AI's is bounded by pooled minutes, and the competitor-reported figures come from Outdoo's reviews of Zenarate and Second Nature. Reddy, ReflexAI, Attensi, Call Simulator, and Mindtickle quote through sales.
How to Choose, by the Problem You Have
“We hired 50 agents and need them ready before busy season”
Prioritize scenarios built from your own calls and score-gating before go-live. If you need to start next week, look at the self-serve options (Exec, Tough Tongue AI); for 200+ seats with systems practice, SymTrain or Zenarate.
“Agents handle upset customers badly”
Look for configurable personas and emotion (Second Nature, ReflexAI) or scenarios built from your worst real calls (SymTrain, Reddy, Tough Tongue AI).
“Agents fumble the CRM while they talk”
You need systems practice: Reddy, Zenarate, Mindtickle, ReflexAI's software simulations, or Call Simulator with Assima.
“We want one standard across several contact centers”
Pick a platform where the same rubric grades practice and live calls (Zenarate, ReflexAI, Reddy, Exec, Tough Tongue AI), and confirm it reaches every site through your LMS or CCaaS.
“We run Genesys, Five9, or NICE and want it connected”
Start with the vendors that name those integrations: SymTrain, ReflexAI, and Cresta.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is call center simulation software?
Software that lets agents practice customer conversations with an AI customer before they take live calls. The better platforms build scenarios from your real calls, score practice against your QA rubric, and some simulate the agent's software too.
What is the best call center simulation software in 2026?
It depends on what you need to practice. Reddy, Zenarate, and Mindtickle cover the conversation and the software together. SymTrain and ReflexAI connect to Genesys, Five9, and other contact center platforms. Second Nature and Attensi focus on the conversation with strong LMS support. Exec and Tough Tongue AI are the self-serve options with published prices.
How much does call center simulation software cost?
Exec lists $20 and $39 per seat a month. Tough Tongue AI's Business plan is $299 a month for 15 seats. SymTrain disclosed one large deployment at $1.71 per agent a month, and competitor reports put Zenarate near $80,000 a year with a 200-learner minimum.
How can I train 50 new call center agents quickly?
Build scenarios from your best and worst real calls, require a passing score before agents go live, and grade their first live calls with the same rubric. A self-serve platform lets you do this with your next cohort.
Which platforms let agents practice with angry customers?
All ten. Second Nature and ReflexAI let you set the persona's mood or emotion, Exec ships prebuilt escalation scenarios, and the platforms that build from your recordings can use your hardest real calls.
Do these platforms integrate with Genesys, Five9, or NICE?
SymTrain and ReflexAI name those integrations, and Zenarate lists CCaaS integrations in general. The others integrate through APIs or LMS standards instead.
Close the Loop, Then Add Realism
The biggest difference between these platforms is not how human the AI customer sounds. It is whether practice and real calls are graded the same way, so what QA finds on Monday becomes a practice scenario on Tuesday. Start there, then decide how much systems realism and integration your program needs.
If you want to see that loop working with your own calls before a procurement cycle, Tough Tongue AI starts free: upload a few recordings, generate the scenarios, and score a live call against the same rubric.
Turn Your Worst Calls Into Practice
Upload recordings, generate realistic customer scenarios, and grade practice and live calls on one rubric. 25 free minutes, no card required.
